Now it’s a 24-piece capsule, a small bathroom shelf and a lot of linen. Everything I write about is something I own, wear or use.
It began as a list in a notebook: what I wore, how often, and whether I still liked it a month later. The list made the decisions for me. Most of what I owned I didn't love, and most of what I loved was old, plain and well made. These days I buy one or two things a season, mend the rest, and write about all of it here, including the mistakes.
